Located in Denpasar, this twin-house boasts a modest 112.5 m2 area, designed to accommodate two look-alike houses with unique stories and requirements for the residents. The ground floor features ample parking space for a car and motorbike, with a welcoming open space area comprising the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Additionally, one of the houses on the ground floor includes an extra bedroom, providing the perfect opportunity for the family to expand and grow.
The layout of the ground floor ensures functionality and practicality, with a staircase discreetly positioned to maximize space. Notably, a camouflage bathroom cleverly tucked under the staircase, blending form and function seamlessly for the residents' convenience. With a focus on meeting the needs of a small family, the twin-house offers a harmonious blend of practicality, comfort, with aesthetic appeal.
Passive design systems are crucial in modern architecture, particularly in optimizing natural light and air circulation within a living space. By incorporating massive openings at the entrance and back of the house, sunlight and fresh air can freely permeate the interior, creating a more sustainable and comfortable environment for the occupants.
Upon reaching the upper floor, one is greeted by a layout that emphasizes functionality and privacy. The staircase terminates at a junction where three distinct doors lead to separate rooms. The central door grants access to a shared bathroom illuminated by a skylight, serving as a natural divider between the two adjacent bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a spacious layout and a private balcony designed to maintain the occupants' privacy. In addition to the master bedroom, the house features another bedroom, complete with its own petite balcony. The meticulous planning of the façade ensures that the design not only enhances the visual appeal of the house but also aligns seamlessly with the needs and preferences of its residents.
